The Walker Pavilion Construction Started March 12, 2013 and is Progressing Rapidly!!!!

Check back here for new pictures as the construction progresses. 


First the foundation is excavated, formed and then poured.

Posts are set and "necklaces" poured around the posts to keep them secure.

To Commemorate the milestone of getting the frame completed for the building, the Pavilion is "topped off".


 April 9, 2013

Structure is prepared for the metal roof. 


April 11, 2013

The roof is on and work begins on the front arch. Conduits are laid in floor

April 16, 2013

Masons begin laying the stone. 


April 19, 2013

Arch is cut in. Electric conduit installation underway. 

April 19, 2013

Storage wing framed in. 


April 24, 2013

The decorative elements are added to the front and back of the Pavilion.

Storage room siding, decorative elements and shutters added. Concrete floor in the storage room is poured as well. 


 May 1, 2013

 Tongue and groove ceiling installed.

 May 2, 2013

Concrete Floor is Poured. The floor is a special dyed color concrete. 


May 13, 2013

Sidewalk is graded and formed. 


 May 14, 2013

Sidewalk is poured. 

 May 15, 2013

Staining begins.


 May 17, 2013

Staining is done. 

 The last stone work and staining is completed and the Pavilion is ready for action!
