Law enforcement within Lovettsville is provided by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department and the Virginia State Police. The Sheriff’s Department has assigned a special community policing officer to the Town.  Her office is located in the Town Hall.  If you have a special concern or request, please stop by and fill out a request form so the deputy can contact you.  For emergencies always dial 911.

Every August the Town and Sheriff’s Office host the National Night Out Against Crime.  For the past three years the event has been held at the Lovettsville Community Center.  Thank you to all who came out to participate and help make the event possible.  The Town would especially like to thank Lovettsville Pizza and Subs for all of the great pizzas and the staff of the Community Center for allowing everyone to cool off in the pool!  If you couldn’t attend this year’s event, we hope to see you at National Night Out 2010!  Mark your calender for Tuesday, August 10, 2010.
