Town Collections Notice
Lovettsville Bill Collections: If you are past due in your payment to the Town for water and/or sewer collections, please contact the Town Office to start a payment plan before disconnection. The Town has scheduled disconnections for March 8, 2022.

Utility Assistance Program: Administered by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington and Loudoun Cares, this Loudoun County funded program makes direct payments to utility providers on behalf of Loudoun County residents. Residential customers, including those in the seven incorporated towns, can request support with paying their utilities. These utilities include electric, water, and gas bills such as propane, oil, or wood, if used for heating or cooking. For more information, call the COVID-19 Emergency Fund and Helpline at 703-669-5040.

Lovettsville Town Code Update: Please note Town Code Sections 38-48 and 38-50 regarding procedures for billing, collections, service disconnections, and property liens were recently revised to conform with Virginia Code sections 15.2-2119 and 15.2-2119.4. Per these Town Code revisions, if payments are not made within 60 days of any delinquent bill’s penalty date, the water service shall be subject to disconnection 10 business days after receiving a final notification from the Town of Lovettsville. Service will not be restored until the delinquent balance of all service charges, and penalty fees have been paid in full; or a payment plan agreement has been set up and approved by the Town Manager.

In addition, upon disconnection of service, a fee for disconnection of $30.00, and a fee of $30 for reconnection will be charged. The current amount due with penalty, plus the disconnection and reconnection fees must be paid prior to reconnection of service.

If you have any questions regarding your water service and/or to start a payment plan, please contact the Lovettsville Town Office at 540 755-3002 or 540 822-5788.
