Planning Commission Comprehensive Plan Public Input Meeting, Public Notice; February 11, 2022:

The Town Planning Commission is reviewing the Lovettsville Comprehensive Plan. Please join us and fill the seats open to public input.

The Comprehensive Plan is an important policy document that among other things helps guide Town Council’s decisions on land use, economic development, and investments in utilities, transportation, and public facilities. The Plan can impact Town residents and businesses in different ways, and it is important that residents and business owners participate in the review process.

The current Comprehensive Plan can be viewed at the Town Website: Comprehensive Plan | Town of Lovettsville, VA (lovettsvilleva.gov).

The Planning Commission has scheduled a meeting to discuss the Housing, Economic Development and Land Use chapters of the Comprehensive Plan.  We’d like to hear from residents, business owners and interested groups their opinions and ideas about the adopted Plan; is it on the right track, are there new things that should be considered to help the Town’s economy, what opportunities and issues are businesses anticipating in the future, and ideas you have about the direction the Town should take going forward, as well as some preliminary changes the Planning Commission is considering.

The meeting will be at the Town Council Chambers at 9:00 AM February 26, 2022. This meeting will focus on Housing, Economic Development, and Land Use. You can also participate remotely. Please click the link below to join the webinar:
