Law enforcement within Lovettsville is provided by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department and the Virginia State Police. The Sheriff’s Department has assigned a community policing officer to the Town.

The station includes a station commander, an assistant station commander, a criminal information records specialist, an administrative assistant and customer services assistant.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office holds quarterly public safety meetings at each station. The quarterly meetings are part of the agency’s effort to better utilize resources, while at the same time providing a higher level of service to county residents.

The station offers a community room available for public use to non-profit organizations. To reserve the room, please call 571-258-3750.

Services provided at the facility include fingerprinting and record checks. Fingerprinting and record checks are provided Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All services are provided on a first-come, first serve basis. Be prepared to show proof of identification for all services provided. Only government-issued identification will be accepted.
