Lovettsville is located in northern Loudoun County, two miles south of the Potomac River and just 14 miles northwest of Leesburg. The Town is located along Route 287, nine miles north of Route 7 and the town of Purcellville, and three miles south of Brunswick, Maryland. The MARC commuter rail system has a station in Brunswick that provides a convenient commuting option to downtown Washington.

Many of the Town’s residents also enjoy shopping nearby in Purcellville and Leesburg, Virginia and Brunswick and Fredrick, Maryland.
