The Town of Lovettsville is located in northern Loudoun County, just two miles south of the Potomac River. Lovettsville has been a thriving small community since it was originally settled by German immigrants in the 1730s. Today, Lovettsville is known for its small town character, as it blends centuries of history with an exciting future.

Town Hall Closed - Friday, July 3 in Observance of Independence Day
The Lovettsville Town Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.  If you would like to make a payment, please leave it in the drop box on the front door. The office will reopen on Monday, July 6. 

If you have a water/sewer emergency, please call 540-822-0155.  For all other emergencies, please call 911.


Lovettsville Square - Phase 1 Now Leasing!
NVRetail is actively leasing Lovettsville Square, a mixed use development that will include a 17,500 SF retail building conveniently located on Route 287 at the intersection of W. Broad Way in the heart of Lovettsville.  For more information, click HERE or call NVRetail at 703-448-4312.   


Lovettsville Independence Day Celebration - Friday, July 3 beginning at 6PM
Lovettsville's annual Independence Day Celebration will take place on Friday, July 3, 2015!  This is a real hometown, community celebration that has been a tradition in here since 1976. 

This event is organized by the Lovettsville Community Center staff and advisory board members and volunteers.  The celebration begins at 6PM with a PARADE through Town that features floats, antique cars, horses, and more. Please note the following streets will be closed for the parade: 

• East Broad Way from the Community Center to South Loudoun Street
• South Loudoun Street from East Broad Way to Lovettsville Elementary School

From 6:45-8:30PM, enjoy a fun-filled, POOL PARTY.  The pool party is FREE, however you MUST register in advance by calling the Community Center at 540-822-5284 or registering on webtrac, 428702-01 beginning Monday, June 15 at  9AM.  The Community Center will also have cotton candy, a DJ, Kona Ice, The Lions Club selling food, and a performance by the Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers in the parking lot from 6:45-8:30PM.

A spectacular FIREWORKS display will begin at about 9:15PM, weather permitting!

DONATIONS:  This event is sponsored by the Lovettsville Community Center Advisory Board. The fireworks cost $5,000 each year.  If you would like to make a donation, make your check payable to LCCAB and mail to LCCAB, 57 E. Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA  20180  Attn: FIREWORKS.

Movies on the Green - The Princess Bride Friday, July 10 on the Town Green
Join us for the next “Movie On The Green” - The Princess Bride, Friday, July 10 (PG). The movie begins at dusk and is free to the public. This month's movie is brought to you by Dr. Kirk Hawn DDS Family Dentisty, the Lovettsville Community Center, and the Town of Lovettsville.
