New Lovettsville Community Center Process

Loudoun County made a presentation to the Town Council on April 3, 2014. The purpose of the presentation was to get input from the Mayor and Town Council on a set of revised architecture designs. If you missed the presentation you can view the proposed plan and designs HERE .

At their meeting on April 10, Town Council reviewed and discussed the three design options.  The Council voted to recommend option #2 (or option B) for construction by the County.  They felt this option was the best design to incorporate the traditional architecture of the former school that was located on the site, along with new design elements that would create an attractive public building that will serve Lovettsville and the surrounding community for many years to come.  The Council also recommended that the County also build .

The next step in the process will be a public hearing to be held by the Lovettsville Planning Commission on April 23 at the Lovettsville Community Center beginning at 7:30pm.  At this meeting the Planning Commission will consider a request from Loudoun County to construct a new Community Center building at 57 East Broad Way.  The Planning Commission's recommendation will be forwarded to the Town Council for their consideration in May.

If you have any questions or comments about the overall Community Center Construction Project, please email the County project manager directly at
